Persimmon grove

Fiona and I had been scheming over winter shoots for a while. Rugs, hot apple cider, croissants, warm shades and teacups were in our minds. Fi stumble across a beautiful persimmon grove on her way home from work one day and the stage was set! Raiding our prop drawers - ok let's face it mine is now a room and garage! - we pulled together a few things and begged our beautiful friends Kirsty, Emma and Renee to be our fun models. Oh and big props to the farmer who stumbled across us playing in his field and didn't kick us off! Shots by Fiona and myself (except for sneaky group shot where our self timer helped out). :)

Alana and Dave came back to their old home beach for a few engagement shots as the sun went down. Can't wait for the wedding!

Cathy and Louis and I hung out at Long Bay, a North Shore fav in the early winter light. Engagement shoots are such a great way to ease into being photographed before the big day. I love the smiles from these two, bring on their spring wedding!
